This case report describes the successful healing of a partial-thickness supraspinatus tear in a 50-year-old male using a combination of microfragmented adipose tissue (MFAT) and adjuvant platelet-rich plasma (PRP). After conservative treatment failed, the patient received an MFAT injection followed by PRP at 14 weeks; by 28 weeks, he achieved near-total pain relief and complete radiographic resolution of the tear. The authors suggest these therapies work synergistically—with MFAT providing a biological scaffold and PRP accelerating repair—offering a promising minimally invasive alternative to surgery for rotator cuff pathology.
